My expertise has been grounded in over 24 years of working within the financial advice industry, as well as advising for over 22 years.
My experience having lived in and worked through a number of investment cycles, gives me the confidence to advise clients based on my experience within these ever-changing financial markets.
During this time I have also seen significant changes within superannuation legislation and much government regulatory change.
Increased education standards have recently become an increased focus with many advisers now ‘playing catch-up’. I personally have always placed great emphasis on my ongoing professional development and always considered that an Adviser should be as qualified as possible. After all, we are advising on a client’s hard-earned money and decisions made could determine a client’s standard of living and comfort in retirement.
I hold the following qualifications; a Bachelor of Commerce, a Graduate Diploma in Property, and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment. I will soon complete a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning. In 2003, I obtained the accreditation of Certified Financial Planner. Globally, that is considered the highest designation that a financial planner can hold.
