The default reporting for my clients is a monthly portfolio valuation report emailed to each client near the second business day of every month.
I would describe it as a fantastic value-add service to my clients. It has most of the information that many of my clients require, which is a portfolio listing detailing the name of the share, the name of the company, the number of shares, the last traded price for the previous calendar month, the market value, the price that the client paid, and the cost of the total shares that you paid.
We also show the historical dividend per share information that we extrapolate with the number of shares held, which gives you an estimated annual income for the year. For 70% of clients, that is enough information.
If you did want to get more sophisticated with your reporting, you would be more suited to our administration service.
This administration service allows us to have performance figures that can tally up actual franking credits, recording up the actual dividends received, and not projected dividends. Our administration reporting service has many more reporting features tailored to the requirements of the individual client. There is an additional fee for this service that I am happy to discuss with you if required.
